I am a Priestess of Rhiannon and a Shaman and I have walked a spiritual path for over 25 years. I create personal ceremonies that are held in sacred space and connected to the energies you would like within your ceremony.  I will also provide blessings for you and your loved ones. 

A handfasting is a very old Pagan marriage where a couple were married for a year and a day. Their hands were tied or "Handfasted" together.  After that time they either renewed their vows or went their separate ways. Today the ceremony can be offered for a year and a day or forever depending on the vows required. Couples may wish to jump the cauldron or the broomstick which is an ancient tradition. The ceremony can take place within a sacred circle honouring and working with the elements.

Vow renewals or commitment ceremonies can be offered in a similar format to a handfasting and can take place at an anniversary, or significant time. Poems and readings can be incorporated as well as a recalling of special memories and life events. This is a joyful occasion and the celebration can be for family and friends or can be an intimate gathering.

I also offer this ceremony as a package if you wish to have a simple couples ceremony and then have a full ceremony a year and a day later.

Naming Ceremonies

Celebrate the energy of a new name with a naming ceremony

Are you looking for a unique way to celebrate the naming of a child or a change of name or identity? Do you wish to appoint guardians whilst honouring your belief system? Do you wish to have a ceremony in your garden or on the beach with close family or friends reflecting your style?

A naming ceremony is such a time of celebration as a child is welcomed into the world and claims their name. It is often conducted for babies or children where the family may not have any religious belief or they require a personal celebration incorporating their own belief system.

The ceremony can include the appointment of guardians or mentors for the child and include promises, poems and readings from a selection I can provide or write, the choice and options are endless. I will spend time with you and the key people ensuring your requirements are met and I will discuss choices of venues which may include the child's favourite park, the family home or a beach. I will also provide certificates if required.

If wished I can also incorporate the working of the elements and bringing the qualities of these into the ceremony for the blessing of the child. 

Naming ceremonies can also be held after a deed poll name change, identity change or after separation or divorce (I also offer cutting of cords ceremonies).

Celebrate your way with a personal ceremony

I offer beautiful, professional, affordable ceremonies that are tailor made to meet your personal requirements for every occasion. This is your personal day and your memories will be held forever in your heart so all ceremonies are individually prepared and written after meeting with you and discussing your needs and requirements. 

Sometimes we need to say goodbye to the past or even welcome in the new energy of the future and a ceremony gives us a fixed point where we can acknowledge the changes. Ceremonies can be created for any life event including birthdays, hen parties, following separation or divorce, anniversaries, change in circumstances, rites of passage, honouring the seasons or celebrating after an illness.  

There are many transition points in a woman's life and ceremonies can be used to mark and honour these points as were a custom in older times. Examples include honouring a girls menarche as she steps into womanhood, Blessing-way or a mother blessing which is an old alternative to a baby shower.  Menopause honouring is now popular as a way of celebrating life's richness as she steps into her crone years or even a change within her life like divorce or children leaving home. These ceremonies are usually held with a group of close friends and family, usually woman, and the focus is to celebrate the transition in the woman's life. 

As an animal lover I know how it feels when we have to say goodbye to a pet. They are one of the family and their loss leaves a huge space in our hearts and homes. It is important for all the family to have a moment to remember their loved one and I can create a simple ceremony which can include a burial or scattering of ashes.
